Fees / Charges / Contracts
Our current fees are shown above, these are reviewed in February and may change. Notice will be given in advance of any changes, giving families the opportunity to discuss their options with the Finance Manager.
Government funding is intended to cover the cost to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of free, high quality, flexible childcare only. It is not intended to cover the cost of meals, consumables, additional hours, or additional services.
The entitlement place is offered free. Parents will not be charged a “top-up” fee to recoup the difference between the amount received from the Local Authority and the current hourly rate.
No deposit is required to secure a place at Ormesby Pre-school.
No registration fee will be charged once a place is offered.
No charges are made for meals or snacks.
Any late collection of children will be charged at the appropriate hourly rate above.
The funded entitlements will be delivered consistently so that all children accessing any of them will receive the same quality and access to provision, regardless of whether families opt to pay for optional hours, services, meals or consumables.
Families wishing to terminate their place at Ormesby Pre-school must give 4 weeks’ notice in writing to the Finance Manager. Any funding entitlement claimed beyond the notice period is transferrable to your new childcare provider via the local authority where the funding criteria is met. Where a child leaves the setting before the end of the agreed notice period, we will seek authorisation from the local authority to claim any funding applicable to your entitlement up to the end of the notice period, together with any additional fees which formed part of your childcare arrangement.
All families will be issued an invoice at the start of each term informing them of their child’s selected sessions, and how much it will cost, or funding amounts used. Any fees due must be paid by the payment due date on the invoice by cash, direct payment to the bank or childcare vouchers/tax free schemes.
Children will not be able to attend Pre-School if the fees are not paid. Funded children will only be able to attend their funded sessions. Nonpayment of fees may result in court action.
Payment plans may be arranged on an individual basis at the discretion of the Finance Manager.
Please note, if your child is absent for illness, holiday etc their session must still be paid for. We cannot change our staffing levels at such short notice.
